MERCUR allows administrators to setup user accounts with an automatic scheduled time system for deleting files older than a given time frame. When you create or edit a user account in MERCUR you need to go into the Option tab. You will need to select the feature Delete mail older than. Then you can select a time frame for MERCUR to delete mail older than a certain period.
Most administrators use 30 days as default for deleting older mail. MERCUR also allows an administrator to be informed if there is mail older than a certain pre-set period. By selecting Info to admin if mail older than x days then you can control what mail resides on the server
